Blatant Self Promotion – Good or Bad?

If you’re running your own business, working from home, you need to use as many opportunities as possible to broadcast your business. Advertizing doesn’t come cheap. But how do you promote your business so it doesn’t appear to be blatant self promotion (which is supposed to be a bad thing)?

Social Media Marketing for business owners offers some incredibly easy and functional marketing opportunities for the average business owners.

Facebook -

Posting regular thoughts and ideas that invite comments and interactive communication on Facebook builds relationships with people you associate with on a regular basis. By creating a Fan Page on Facebook, your brand lives longer according to one report. Designing an easy to promote brand with enough recognition to keep your business profitable online is fun when you mix brand recognition and social media relationship development.

Twitter -

In 140 characters you spread  your message, share your link and drive your market. Don’t forget the hash tags. These incredible little mini-blogs warp your business up to speed. They build relationships fast, and you have the option of taking those relationships further to your blog. Bring on some peeps and make your tweets profitable!

LinkedIn -

Driving traffic to your business through LinkedIn is as easy as building a clientele with interactive group connections. You post to the group, someone else reposts your post and word of your business flies around the Internet at double speed. Functional interaction on LinkedIn is business development on steroids. You can’t fight technology when it works. Use what you have and promote it.

Blogging -

Yes, blogging is definitely a substantial effort, but the results pay out in PROFIT. Driving traffic to your blog online is a significant business builder and it happens easiest with a BLOG. Growing your business with blog traffic and interactive links means your business grows fast, you develop ongoing consistent traffic and the process of driving profits in your business becomes automated by your blog strategy.
