With all you have to do, while marketing online, worrying about SEO shouldn’t be one of those things…
Whether your site is post-panda, pre-panda, radically seo friendly or just frustratingly inappropriate for the search engines, isn’t an issue if you focus your content on the reader and how you can provide solutions and answers for those who need them. This morning, an internet marketing client sent me a message asking about SEO and how he could better rank for his specific keywords. I answered the following:
Create a site your clients will want to find. Use solutions they need in the words you write to them. Answer their questions. Give them the results they need, from the beginning and your readers will come back again and again, for more of your useful solutions.
For instance: Everyone has sites they visit all the time. I’m interested in cooking and I have a few select recipe sites that I return to, any time I need a new idea for dinner or just want something special for dessert. Recently, I’ve been seeking specialty recipes, so the list of sites is changing, but I still go back to my old favorites.
One of my best friends is interested in rescuing animals, particularly pugs. She frequents sites where the main topic is pugs, puppies and animal rescue or care.
The answer to the question my client asked is simple. If you’re involved in marketing a specific topic and your reader will want to know about that topic, write more often about that topic and the solutions you offer, because those solutions will be search engine optimized for your specific reader.
As an internet marketing coach, I hear this question often and there are many obvious solutions you can use to move your site to the top of the search engine page ranks.
