When I started putting together a coaching package for online marketers, I knew it would have to be good. There were so many marketing coaches on the sidelines, an average coaching package just wasn’t going to cut it. I found my niche in the collective following of my clients who had been paying me for services. They wanted to do most of the marketing projects themselves, without my constant “project fees” and they needed to know how to do what I did.
I was more than ready to hand over the torch. In exchange for a few hours a week, I let go of control of several hours of hard work, detailing and managing websites for clients who wanted to do it themselves. It worked. I’d turned over the sites and through weekly phone calls, some serious connections and interactive solutions my clients were managing their own websites successfully.
I wanted freedom from the marketing duties, and time to spend on my own projects. But I still wanted to make sure my client’s jobs were done. When I presented the opportunity for them to learn how to do what I did, to my clients, most of them jumped in with both feet, ready to take the first class.
We started out slow. First, I offered a 7 part e-course they could take at their leisure, with each step readily accessible at the end of the last step before it. The process was so successful, I started the second phase almost immediately.
