Farrah Faucett Escapes the Bounds of Earth
Looking back on my life, there’s little to question about the role of the 1970′s in my personal history. Although my hair was more “Kate Jackson” than “Farrah Faucett” I still tried the style. Straight dark auburn hair just didn’t do a thing for the feathered look Farrah made popular. However small her impact was, she did have an impact on my life.
My interest in criminal justice is directly related to watching the crime fighting “Angels” Charlie claimed as his own. My favorite of the group was Kate Jackson, because she seemed the most logical, stream-lined of the three, a leader in her position and field. I saw Farrah in a different role, among the Angels, she was the defiant rebel who managed somehow to solve the problem as she rebelled against the system.
My view of Farrah in life is much the same. She was a rebel, fighting the system, and winning. Even now as she escapes the bounds of earth and the pain of cancer, I’m sure she’s flat footing a cloud and rebelling against the forces of the next life too. Her smile and sparkle have probably returned as she greets those who have gone before. What a lady!
