Victoria’s Secret - the Hottest Thing on My Blog
OMG - I just reviewed my target audience, and revealed that Victoria’s Secret Marketing Strategies is the hottest thing on my blog. Um… Not that my blog isn’t viewed for any other reason, because… Well, it is. For lots of other reasons, and viewers who visit Victoria’s Secret Marketing article seem to come back frequently! But, that’s the hottest search button on my blog. AHEM.
A while back, Oris mentioned that his highest search numbers land on an article he wrote about how to determine the sex of a donkey. Donkey Sex ranks high in the search engines. Now, being Oris, he was shocked and embarrassed by the whole idea of anyone finding donkey sex on his back roads to yesterday sight about the joys of living back in the good ole days. And then came along the Color Pink… He didn’t know what to think of that. So, he just told me I had to change the color of his website. I did, and that wasn’t the end of that — it wasn’t the Color Pink that was driving traffic to his website, but rather the words The Color Pink.
So, today, Mike, who is Oris’ boss at the photography studio asked me how to drive traffic to his website. He does fundraisers and is hot on the trail of new photo models for his photography business. He’s got a few lined out, and several new jobs lined up since I did some updating on his website and blog, but he’d like more business and some travel opportunities. I suggested keyword marketing for him, and he thought I meant he’d have to work really hard to figure out how to pick the keywords. Nope, there are a few that stimulate massive direct hits and heavy traffic flow almost immediately. Victoria’s Secret is one - even if all you’re doing is setting up a scene for a Marketing Strategy you’d like to discuss. Perhaps it’s a good thing my daughters and I like to shop their store, maybe I can even convince them to give us a pair of bras for our blog give away over the holidays. You know, one for me to wear and one to give to the reader who wins the “give away” package?
Discussion continued and I decided it would be really nifty if I could drive a lot of traffic to Mike’s site over the next several days so some could get portraits taken and he could actually increase his business profits for the month of November, just in time for Christmas. For all of you thinking he does nude shots or porn, sorry to disappoint you, but he’s one of the good guys who still shoots family portraits and designer photos for families, teens, kids and moms to be. I’ve seen his work. It is absolutely awesome! In fact, this past summer he took the photo for Oris George’s book cover, a family photo for me, and the maternity shots for my daughters. Those photos are absolutely terrific, and we’ve got a ton of baby photos of my granddaughter to show off too.
You can’t beat his photo shop techniques, where he makes a collage of several photos and blends the edges so you can’t tell they aren’t some how shadowed onto the photo. His portraits make absolutely stunning room art pieces!
I figure if all the people all around the world are going to search my site and come visit for Victoria’s Secret keywords, I might as well make the most of it and recommend you become a full time shopper at Victoria’s Secret, and keep stopping by. You never know when I might actually display some purchases from Victoria’s Secret for the world to view — no, definitely NOT on a model.
