Salute – Happy Independence Day America
Graduation for my son-in-law from boot camp comes on the heels of the Fourth of July this year. I can’t imagine a more appropriate place to be than near boot camp on one of the nation’s Military Bases for the 4th of July. This particular base is near enough to the capital to hear the echoes of Washington’s message to the troops.
Looking back, I think of Independence Days I’ve celebrated in the past, knowing in my heart that FREEDOM and LIBERTY was assured by my government. This year, I’m looking at our current administration and wondering if we can survive the onslaught of socialism and marxist chatter that’s coming down the pike. Is it possible that those who understand Freedom and Liberty will not be allowed to continue the fight? Or is socialism in our future?
I shiver at the concept and know that if “We the People” don’t stand our ground and pray, holding onto the freedom we now have will be impossible. And losing more is a given fact of life with the current administration.
There are those who look at socialism and wonder how bad it can be, with the government providing everything “we” need. The rest of us understand that those constant triggers of shame that scurry under cover of government hand outs, entitlements and give-aways. We know the cost of freedom is lives. Not just the lives of our military, but lives of innocent people will be lost if freedom disappears in this country.
Recently, I came across this blog post, on a friend’s blog. The Blue Print gives specific information about the current administrations activities. This is no joke. It’s real, and if you’re not taking it seriously, you should.
If we don’t wake up America, there will come a time in the very near future when THOUSANDS (possibly millions) of us will never wake up again. There’s no fear mongering here, this is real. Our government is not representing the people of this nation, they are leading the people of this nation by the nose of entitlements down a slippery slope to socialism and marxism using a plan sketched out and well planned by people who do NOT have our best interests at heart.
