The Best Towns to Live in Right Here in Colorado

A stone’s throw from Highlands Ranch, I have to agree… It’s one of the nicest places in Colorado to live. With magnificent views of the metro area and the mountains, Highlands Ranch captures the essence of living for me. I enjoy the tight knit community, resources and miracle of existence that still thrives in this budding community.

Seclusion here isn’t an issue. If you’d rather not listen to the heavy traffic, silence is as close by as your own backyard, where trees and hillsides protect you from the drone of city traffic. Even there, in the quiet early mornings, you catch a glimpse of mountain side, the hills in the distance and clouds passing over the city, a glimpse of city lights in the night or the wonder of people in close proximity. Life here in suburbia finds ways of bringing brilliance and wonder to the most simple of days.

On a work-a-day week, you’ll find the most amazing connections with Denver Professionals networks or one of the many Catalyst Coffee Networks. Your business will boom with the rest of the metro businesses, because your connections will grow. Other community efforts to build business come into play with multiple opportunities to share your business, your dream, your goals, with others who live and work here.

Joining the extravagant night life is an option, if you choose to follow that lifestyle, or you could always find an exercise group or organization to spend your time with… my favorite is the Bootcamp Crowd that Priscilla put together. Love those folks!

There’s another fun group you might want to participate with, children’s hour at McDonalds. While children play in the jumbo gym spaces, Mom’s get time out to read a book, share their business interests in the play yard, or just gather to contemplate “what’s for dinner”. McDonalds offers just the right size frozen yogurt snacks for when you’re all done playing.

With plenty of parks, shopping centers and gathering places all around the area, you’ll find your niche somewhere close by. Just remember to let the natives here in Colorado know you’re here, make a new friend or two, and invite them out for coffee – they can’t refuse a good coffee stop.

Yeah, I’m really liking Highlands Ranch. Think I’ll stick it out for a while.
