Read this link… Because I was rather astounded myself. It’s okay for those kids to sing the sexy lyrics of Bieber, but not the patriotic words of an American standard. Perhaps the Principle of this school needs to find a different place to live. Different country. Different continent. Heck, I bet she could move to a different planet.

I’m not ranting about the political standards of this nation at this point in time, I refuse to bring this idiotic ruling to that level. There’s nothing political about a patriotic song being removed from a classroom. It’s just plain stupid. I would go so far as to say a principle who removed a patriotic song from a classroom to replace it by a sex driven song, will make stupid choices on other levels as well. Her uneducated attitude about the song reeks of anti-American rhetoric.

“We might offend other cultures,” says Principle Greta Hawkins,  a public employee who earns her wages from the very government whom she dissed in her comments.

What is wrong with being proud of the country you live in? The country that supports your habits? The country that writes your CHECKS?
