Sometimes the Most Inspiration…

Comes in a moment when the hurt runs deep.

I find there are always people reaching out, even in the darkest hours, I always have friends. Sometimes, those friends are different than I expect. You know, the friend you’ve known for so long that challenges you to be better, isn’t always the one you need.

Sometimes, God sends the one that gives you no challenge, no support and no healing depths. That one happened by this afternoon. By the time he left my home, I felt drained. Empty. Poured out. And void of all ability to give more.

Yet still, I was asked to give, even more.

Loveybug RagdollsThen, this evening, as I was visiting with a friend, she offered a comment that encouraged me and filled up my empty reserves. Not only filled them up, but reminded me that it’s okay to sometimes feel so empty that you need refilled. It’s okay to ask for assistance when you need some ‘refilling’ and to accept it from others.

We often give so much, we need to accept that refilling. Thank you, Lord for placing warm and loving friends in my life to lift me up when I need to be lifted up and refilled.

  1. Sometimes we do feel empty. We wonder if things will ever look up…that is when I have to look up, get on my knees, and count my blessings. It is a refresher course for me. You my friend are a blessing to so many! God love ya!
