Resource Box Winners Drive Massive Numbers of Click Through Traffic

Over the past week, I’ve noticed a lot of boring resource boxes that do not compel me to click and some actually diverted my attention to some other topic. That’s not what you want to do.

The purpose of a resource box is to drive more traffic to your website and compel them to click on your informative article links. You’ll want them to stick around and read but sub-titles can keep them reading.

How do you create a traffic driving resource box?

Entice them, comfort them, and tell them what to do. Those three little keys will bring your traffic home.

First you bring them in with a warm inviting introduction to the solution coming. It’s easy, just ask them a question that gives them that warm fuzzy feeling.

Second you make them feel good. Give them some comfort food for thought, a cozy warm place to sit and a blanket to keep them warm.

Third you tell them to put their feet up and read your blog, sign in for a FREE subscription, or buy your product. They like being told what to do. Seriously, who wants to make a decision?

How do you get them to the resource box?

An interesting informative article that offers a solution for the problems your readers are having will bring your readers through the article to the point at which you can entice them further.
People online are looking for entertainment, solutions and friendship. There’s really a lot of pain in the world. People need to escape. Show your reader that you can give them what they want and solve their problems. Be a friend to your reader. Write in comfortable “tea time cozies” that your readers will understand, without getting out their dictionary. People want to know what you’re saying and feel good reading it.

Ezine Publishing – Marketing Style & Clarity

Ezine Publishing – Design a Winning Ezine Format with Marketing Emphasis & Style

Everybody wants to publish an amazing Ezine, it’s a natural desire for any Internet Marketer.

The Bio-Generic varieties of ezines don’t always have the most accessible formats, and those Organic Model Formats aren’t so easy to work with. Besides, they’re ugly. So, what’s a marketer to do?

Step back, load up a “Wonder Designer Ezine Format” and watch it work!

Well, that would be nice if there was such a thing, but there really isn’t. So, the next best thing is to design your own highly-visible working model and see what comes from that. If you follow these steps your Ezine will be just as powerful and exciting as any other, and it will be easier for your email readers to open and read.

Stick with Plain Text

Html formats are cute, stylish, and colorful, but you want to be OPENED. The rest of those adjectives just don’t mean anything if your Ezine doesn’t get opened. Stick with plain text and give your reader some serious credit for having a brain.

Don’t overload the Email Box

Cut the readers some slack. Too many emails just overwhelm the reader and don’t really accomplish the task you want to accomplish, so STOP sending JUNK. Send the good stuff, send it frequently, but don’t overdo it, and give your readers some time to enjoy what you do send.

Be Gracious NOT Pushy

It’s wonderful to extend an invitation to your reader and give them the option of attending your marketing event, but STOP pushing. If their answer is NO, leave it alone, they probably have a reason. Let them say no to this one and give them another opportunity later. No is an answer too.

Short is SWEET

Keep the email Ezine short and sweet. Offer links to longer articles and include a link to your blog where your MAIN information SHOULD be anyway. Give the reader a choice and let them make it without you harping at them.

Focus on Topic

Seriously, there are times for you to be open and unending on topic discussions, but your Ezine isn’t one of those times. Stay on topic, only one topic per Ezine, and focus please.

300 – 500 words really is long enough for your Ezine. Your reader has other things to do, and you probably would like to have a response. Give the reader credit for time spent on your website and tell them you appreciate them stopping by.

Organic Search Engine Optmization

Posted by admin | FREE Gifts, Marketing, Resources, SEO Marketing | Thursday 29 January 2009 5:59 am

Over the past several days I’ve been learning about organic (natural) search engine optimization. Now, this isn’t a new lesson, just simply a reiteration of a lesson learned a long time ago. One I definitely needed to review!

Organic SEO is a means of bringing your website, whatever the topic to the top of page one on the search engines through methods of inter-linking action, keywords and useful content optimized for crawlers and spiders (yea, I think they sound creapy crawly too) to locate when they search your pages. The more your pages are linked by relevant sites, using keyword appropriate links, the more often your pages are recognized.

Organic SEO works.

There are several ways to achieve organic SEO. I’ll go over them here. PERSONAL keywords loan value to online marketing by implanting the concept of a link into existence. The three links in the previous sentence link to the same site, but not the same page. By putting several links in an article to the same site, but linking deep to a variety of pages, you’ll deepen the value of your links and grow wider interest for the actual links. Your site will have greater linking value to the site you’re linking to.

By including inter-active links within a page, you’ve increased the value of your content and built a direct relationship with another web site, maximizing the quality and value of the relevance of both sites. These qualities often represent the best of several aspects of blogging. With a blog you can interlink often, without having multipe links on the same pages.

Another valuable purpose of blogging is to promote your own site by adding relevant content and refreshing the website frequently, adding interest and a reason for readers to come back. If your reason for them to come back includes FREE gifts, valuable information, and other benefits to the reader, your readers will leave each time they come, feeling fulfilled and valued as readers.

Give them something to take with them!

Even if what you give them is simply a reason to link back to your website (quality content to link to) you’ll want them to remember your website and come back, time after time. You’ll also want them to link back to your website with powerful, high-quality links from their own sites.

Quality content is a good reason to link and a good reason to revisit a site, but what about a FREE report they can download, or other quality information they can gain, simply by coming by. What if you give them a link to a report they can give away on their own site?

Here’s a FREE SEO Marketing Report you can download just by clicking on the link and feel free to GIVE AWAY on your own site. PLEASE do not alter the report in any way. Leave it as is and give away to your readers whenever you get a chance. It’s FREE!

Resource Renewal – 5 Ways to Rejuvenate Blog Content Revisions and Benefit Readers

You probably have a ton of old blog posts residing in the archives of your blog, stored for eternity with your name attached, but what are they doing back there? Has anyone really searched through your archives lately? Including you?

You put a lot of work into those blog posts, and there they lie, waiting… wishing someone would view them… What about a link back in time? Perhaps you could rejuvenate the old posts by inserting a quote and referencing the old post?

Here are a few suggestions for repurposing those old blog posts:

1. SEO – Keyword Updates
Review the old posts and increase keyword content to bring them higher on the search engine pages. Grab a few of those uninteresting pronouns and replace them with keywords that effectively market your site on the search engines. It works! Just take an hour and update them for publicity and recognition. Your BRAND will be better for the time you spent.

2. Re-write BAD Blog Posts
You know they’re back there, hiding in the archive, those posts that maybe shouldn’t have been written, or should be written better… Go do it. Find one today and re-write or edit it to improve the content and purpose of your postings. Increase the impact of those crusty old posts with vital new content that rejuvenates the purpose and value of your blog. Who knows, it could increase readership.

Don’t be shy, tell folks you’ve rewritten or repurposed a post and give them a link. Show off!

3. Put your Blog on the A-List
Top 5 Lists work well. People like an organized list of information. A list is concise, clear and to the point. A list means they don’t have to read through the muck and meander to get to the meat of the post. Give them what they want – a list of details. Put your blog on the A-List Registry with a Category just for Lists you’ve written.

4. Deep Link Blog Posts
Keep your visitors on the site longer with links back to your referenced blog posts. They’ll read your current post and revisit an old post for more information, be sure you provide easy access with a link directly to the post. Guide your reader through the archives of your blog for better resourcing of your informative postings.

5. Dominate the Topic
Search the Internet and link your posts (old and new) to other sites with relevant information by adding comments that link directly to your posts on the same topic. Not only will the search engines locate your topic and rush it to the top of the page, but other readers will capture the concept of your knowledge on the topic. Other bloggers don’t mind, you’re linking to their pages with your postings and articles.

Be sure to add links to the topic postings in your relevant blog posts.

Improve the resources you provide at your website using one of the many blogging tips and strategies at http://makeyourfirstmilliononline.com and generate additional cash income from your blogging experience.
